How do I order
Send an email to info@hotscreen.se including information below, and
an attachment with your design.
What we need to know is:
Who are you? Company name or customer number.
Size of the desired decals (width or height in mm/cm).
Your desired quantity? Please note that our minimum print quantity is 50pcs.
Which colours?
We use Pantone Coated for nearest reference.
We also have 30 default colours for you to choose from free of charge.
In what format do you want the files?
To produce the best quality transfers, good originals are preferable. We would prefer a vector file. Typical extensions of vector files are .eps, .cdr, .ai, .pdf, .svg, but there are a few more. A vector file can be scaled indefinitely without losing quality, and in addition, it can be divided into its components, colours, and details.
If no vector file is available, we are happy to redraw a bad original or image to make it printable. We can work with almost any format. Business cards, stickers, etc. work fine. If there is no original, then a hand drawn sketch supplied by your customer can serve as a starting point for us to make a proposal.
Worth mentioning is that we charge for original work per the price list when we work with your logo. If you are sending complete vector files we obviously do not charge for the original work.
But how about the Stark Process heat transfer?
Unlike designs printed with solid colours in which motifs are broken up into components, this process uses print raster to create colours. This enables us to use photos in designs for heat transfer.
What we then want is either a vector file, or a bitmap image in scale 1:1 at 300 dpi with a clipping mask around the subjects.
What does it cost to get the proof?
If you send us a vector file, the proof is for free! Even if it never turns into an order!
If we are to work with the original, we will charge an hourly rate per the price list.
How do I create a vector file?
To create a vector file, you need an editing program that supports vector editing. The most popular program for creating vector files is Adobe Illustrator.
Another popular program is CorelDRAW. If you do not have any of these programs you can download a free application on the Internet called Inkscape.
This serves as a basic version of Illustrator/CorelDRAW and is very easy to use. Click the link and follow the prompts to install the program.

How long are your delivery times?
Our production time is 5 working days after receiving a proof or a finished original from you.
The additional shipping time depends on where you want your delivery. We use postal services for shipments.
How long will it take before I receive a reply to my email?
Our goal is to reply to all emails within 24 hours. These 24 hours are included in the production time, 5 days.
I already have a stencil with another printer
You will not have to pay us anything for the stencil if you send the physical decal from another printer to us.
Help! My file is too large for email.
There's a free service for sending large files at www.sprend.com that you can use to send files up to 2 GB for free.
What is a PMS color?
Pantone Matching System (PMS) is a widely-used colour specification system in the printing industry. It is the colour scheme that we follow to ensure you will get the correct colour for your prints.

How does it work for us as a large customer?
Large customers have their own dedicated graphic designer / order taker with us, with whom they are in daily contact.
The graphic designer provides an image catalogue in PDF format, and a detailed list of items in Excel format so that the recurring items are easy to view and order. Also, new orders are sent directly to your "personal" graphic designer.
Does Hot Screen replace garments?
No, you as the customer have the responsibility to check that the supplied decals are correct for your purposes.
Do you always deliver the exact quantity?
Beginning in 1/4 2020 we will always deliver the exact number of ordered heat transfers
I purchase a lot, can I get a discount?
Of course! The customers who spend more than 100,000 SEK per year receive a discount per our discount table.
Discount reconciliation takes place at the end of each calendar year, and the principle is that the current year's spending decides the following year's discount.
All customers who order for more than 100,000 SEK are informed at the end of the year.
Your price list is confusing!
We have a complex price list since there are many factors involved in pricing. Number of colours, size and number of ordered heat transfers are factors affecting the price. To make it easy for our customers, we have created a price calculator where you fill in the values with details about the logo you need to get the correct price.
The price calculator is available for the Swedish krona and the Euro, in reference to the current exchange rate. If we have not yet sent it to you, just email info@hotscreen.se and we will send it as soon as possible.
Can I order several logos as a so called sponsor logo?
Contact our customer service for an offer.
Can anybody order from Hot Screen?
No, we focus exclusively on resellers.
To become a reseller, you must be in the business of trading refined garments or a business we consider to be comparable.
