Sponsor prints - what are they?

Over the years, we’ve had more than a few requests for so-called sponsor prints which involve applying several prints to the same sheet during ordering. Whilst we are more than capable of doing this, there are a few guidelines on how you should go about ordering this type of heat transfer.

Instead of pricing according to the size of the logo in square centimetres, we price sponsor prints depending on the size of the sheet that will be used, the total number of colours in your logos and how many prints you want to order. Meaning you pay for the total surface area used on the sheet.

When are sponsor prints used?

Sponsor prints are most commonly used to make it easier to apply heat transfers to all garments. They are also used to ensure that the various different prints to be applied to the clothing are placed in exactly the same position on all items of clothing, for example. It is often sports clubs and other associations that make the most use of multiple prints on the same sheet, but this method is also sometimes used on other garments where you want to ensure identical placement of logos.

What colours can I have on my sponsor print?

Whether you want to have all your logos in the same colour or in mixed colours, we can do either just as easily. You can choose up to a total of 7 solid colours on your sponsor print, or order them as a Process if you have more than 7 colours on your logo, different shades or if your print includes an image.

How do I order a sponsor print?

Start by creating all the logos you want to have on the same sheet and put them in a single document, ideally in Adobe Illustrator.
Then place the different logos where you want them to be and adjust them to the size you want.
Next, save your file as EPS, AI or PDF.
