Collaboration with Lyreco – a reliable partner in branding solutions
"We know what to expect from you"
Lyreco has strengthened its long-standing collaboration with Hot Screen. Emma Persdotter is responsible for the purchasing side of the Branding Solutions category, which includes workwear and promotional clothing. This is where Hot Screen comes into the picture.
An important part of the overall delivery
Lyreco has evolved from a traditional office supplies company into a supplier of everything a workplace needs. In Askim, Gothenburg, one of their 11 stores is located alongside one of their sales offices. This is where Emma Persdotter works as Sourcing & Product Portfolio Manager.
“I started here in 2014, when we were called Brandpartner,” Emma says. “At the time, I worked with design, marketing materials and similar tasks. Today, I am responsible for purchasing across four product categories within Branding Solutions, and I work closely with our suppliers – including Hot Screen.”
Behind the scenes in the Askim store, one of Hot Screen’s heat presses is ready to use. When customers visit the store, they can try on garments and have them printed directly on site. Our transfer prints can also be stored on the shelf for at least five years.
Lyreco’s head office is located in Borås, while its central printing operation is based at the warehouse in Växjö. We supply them with both heat transfers and heat presses – an important part of their overall offering.
“You are like the milk in the fridge,” Emma says with a laugh. “A reassurance that is always there. Your products are a small part of what we deliver, but without you, we cannot deliver what we are supposed to. Everything has to work – and it always has. We know what to expect from you.”

A partnership built on mutual respect
Lyreco and Hot Screen have worked together since 2011, and the relationship has grown stronger over time. Emma and her colleagues regularly visit our production facility in Fjärås, including for the much-appreciated tour. Both companies see clear similarities in the way we work – a close and trusting relationship built on openness and inclusion.
When asked how she views the collaboration, Emma replies:
“When you are a supplier and a customer, you need to value each other equally. Otherwise, the relationship becomes unbalanced. Lyreco and Hot Screen do exactly that. As my daughter says – that means you are best friends forever.”
